There must be a way to control the velocity in all the milliseconds during the 1 second. This is impossible with out feedback that updates every millisecond. This is the same argument I made against the stepper cylinder. It is possible to move 5 microns in 500 milliseconds but that doesn’t mean the motion is a constant 10 microns per second. I don’t understand the interesting in moving microns. The machines can not be built to that tolerance. The dimensions will change with temperature and stress. | |
